Shannon Way started playing volleyball when she was 12 years old. She played throughout junior high and High school. She was on varsity for her all of her high school career and was all conference her junior and senior years and all state her senior year. Her athletic career took her to UC Irvine on a full-ride scholarship where she played Division 1 basketball. Shannon started coaching volleyball in 2008 as an assistant at West Valley Christian Academy and was there for three years. She then went on to coach at Valley Rebels for the 2012 and 2015 season as the 16s coach. Shannon volunteer at West High for the 2016 season. Shannon started coaching at PCVC in 2016 as the 16-2s coach. She is currently the Freshman Coach at West High School.
